Why would you need to know the code from your computer under your hood?
This question can be asked for a number of reasons however the most common one is when you purchase a tuner such as SCT and get a custom tune for your 2011+ Ford Mustang GT. The company providing the SCT and the custom tune will need this code to help identify which PCM you have as there are reported to be over 1000.
Location of the code
- Open up your hood
- Locate the fuse box which should be at the front of the engine bay on the passenger side.
- To the right of the fuse box you will see a silver bracket.
